3.5 for the actual book. 5 stars for a good way to spend the afternoon.

Bliss feels like the oldest virgin in the world. But she's just never felt ready to have sex. She is too much in control to just let loose and 'do it'. Until she meets Garrick who sparks her sexual desire. But even then she just can't seem to let go. Faking a cat, and an emergency she flees from a the hot naked British boy in her bed. She thinks she's ok. She can just pretend that 'it' happened and move on. Only Garrick shows up in an unexpected place. In her class, as the teacher.

This book is cute. It's really, really cute. I flew through it in one sitting and very much enjoyed my time reading. It's not freakin' Shakespeare but it is definitely funny as hell. I was laughing, and maybe even fanning myself. That Garrick...he sure knows how to charm the pants off of Bliss.
In terms of storyline there isn't really a gripping one here. A forbidden love, that is never really in risk of getting caught. Bliss plays it way to safe for that. The only question you are really confronted with is whether the fruit will taste just a sweet once it's no longer forbidden. There is a random love triangle thrown in but we all know that the other guy, Cade, has not chance against the British hottie. This book would have been just as cute and steamy without the created drama.
The book is short. I feel like she either could have made it a novella, or flushed out the characters.
Overall a good way to spend an afternoon but I probably won't be picking it back up and re reading it.
