Contagious Reads

I was a little dissapointed that she completely killed off all the supporting characters from the 1st book. I really liked Tatum, Harlow, and Lazlo. I guess I don't see the purpose of Boden. She already had a ready made new love interest in Tatum. And I loved Tatum.He was a hoot and could keep up with Remy. I guess maybe Ms. Hocking was trying to show the fraility of life in this world? I don't know. About 50 pages in I was like wait where the hell is Ripley. Luckily she showed up shortly after that. If she had killed off the lion I would probably have been done with this book. Other than that I enjoyed this book almost as much as I enjoyed the first one. Hocking keeps surprising me with how well she can tell a story.
